Dr. Rachel Jessica Daniel

Dr. Rachel Jessica Daniel, NCBAA Northeast Region Board member was promoted to Associate Dean for Professional Development and Academic Innovation at Massasoit Community College in Brockton, MA. In this role, Rachel will serve as a catalyst for new approaches to meet the needs of students and community members by providing leadership, vision, and assessment of innovation.

Specifically, as Associate Dean she will engage in the dissemination of the scholarship of teaching and learning and promote evidence based pedagogical practices and effective student support collaborations consistent with the goals of the strategic plan. The Associate Dean of Professional Development & Academic Innovation will continue to lead the Center for Employee Enrichment and Development. In addition, she will oversee the work of the Office of Online Learning and will work collaboratively with the Academic Deans and Student Affairs leadership, the faculty, shared governance committees, and all student facing offices, to cultivate collaborative relationships, facilitate campus-wide dialogue, and provide appropriate resources and support tools to implement culturally responsive and inclusive practices that meet the needs of underserved communities.
